Senari provides an integrated approach to help students achieve
mastery in their primary studies.
- Interactive programs provide tutorial help for hands-on work
with concepts.
- Worksheet generators provide drill and practice.
- Manipulatives provide a visual-kinesthetic approach.
Each subject area includes some or all of the following materials:
Worksheet Generators: An answer key is printed with each
unique worksheet created with randomly generated numbers. Worksheets
provide drill and practice as well as testing for mastery on specific
concepts. In the Timed Test section, the each set of basic facts
is presented in three levels to help students memorize these facts.
A student who completes a test in 5 minutes or less with no more
than 2 mistakes demonstrates mastery of a concept.
Interactive Programs: Senari's interactive programs are
designed to teach math and phonics concepts in a concrete and visual
way. All problems are randomly generated so each session is unique
and positive feedback is given. You can print out your student's
scores when he has finished a session.
Computer Generated Teaching Aids: Printouts and lesson plans
for using many manipulatives help teachers and home-educators teach
math concepts to students in a visual and concrete way.
To make Senari's computer generated manipulatives:
- Print two copies of each set.
- Save one copy as an answer sheet.
- Laminate and cut apart the second copy for the students to use
as a sorting game.
With computer generated materials, you will never have the problem of lost pieces or insufficient material for an entire class!
