The Map Skills Worksheet Set provides a format for students to do a research project on one state, a region or the entire United States. Each set includes an instruction sheet, a student map, and a map answer key. The instruction sheet gives you the choice of a variety of items to assign. Thus, these sets can be challenging for all students from the lower elementary level through high school. The Study Guide has information about cities, landforms, boundaries, and places of interest in the state. It can be cut apart and used as a manipulative by the students. The Bingo Game uses the Study Guide as a calling card. Each Bingo Game set has 30 unique cards. The Timeline Program provides a history component. Instructions for adding additional events to the state timeline are included on the disc. The online Map Reading Quiz uses the maps from the work sheet set and encourges students to use other atlases as well. The online State Quiz uses both the Study Guide and worksheet set as a resource. The students may use these materials when taking the quizzes. Little Bear's Geography presents interactive quizzes, presented both as flash cards and on a map of the United States. The Landforms Study Unit provides students with the basic terms and definitions necessary for the study of geography. The study unit includes activities for students of all ages. Each student can participate at his own level. The lesson plan has complete instructions for assembly and use of the Study Unit. The Corkboard Maps set includes major landforms. The Saints Timeline program is an excellent complement to any study of World History. It is organized by centuries. In addition to many saints, each Pope is included in the timeline. Timelines may be printed out and illustrated or viewed on screen. Instructions for adding your own items to the timeline are included on the CD. Printable timelines for each century are provided in two formats. Short timelines have only the dates of the individual events and are designed to be cut into strips that students can attach these events to their own timelines. The long timeline shows each year, leaving room for students to add illustrations. As an added bonus, eight different Patron Saint Bingo Games are included on the CD.
